On March 19th, 2023, the SEAECE (Sino-European Association of Educational & Cultural Exchange) collaborated with the Association of Arts and Fashion of Paris and the Sino-European Association of Educational & Cultural to organize the Global Kids Fashion Show at the Shangri-La Hotel in Paris. The event received support from the Federation of Haute Couture and Fashion (the organizing body of Paris Fashion Week).

The Global Kids Fashion Show in Paris invited teenagers from four continents: Europe, the Americas, Australia, and Asia. The inaugural event centered around a fashion model competition and partnered with global charitable organizations such as UNICEF Canada and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The aim was not only to fulfill the fashion dreams of children but also to assist those who are ill or facing difficulties.

During the live event, children, after being professionally groomed and dressed, took their first steps onto the runway confidently. They experimented with different types of clothing, including ethnic costumes, casual wear, formal dresses, sportswear, and pajamas. Their poised postures and focused expressions were delightful to witness. Children from different countries and cultures showcased their unique styles.

Additionally, during the parent-child segment of the event, some parents dressed in formal attire and ethnic costumes, walking the runway alongside their children, creating an atmosphere filled with a sense of solemnity and ceremony distinct from everyday life. After the runway walk, the children also showcased themselves in front of the photographers’ lenses. Throughout this process, they not only exhibited their individuality but also forged connections with kids from around the world, fostering a sense of camaraderie among the participants.

The purpose of the Global Kids Fashion Show is to promote the development and exchange of international youth culture, fashion, and arts. It seamlessly integrates youth fashion aesthetics, artistic education, stage performances, international cultural and artistic exchange, and global charitable activities. With Paris as the originating city, the Global Kids Fashion Show is held annually, bringing together youth from around the world.
