Several school principals from Chengdu visited Finnish and Danish secondary schools

Chengdu is the capital of Sichuan Province of China and is the only sub-provincial municipality in Southwest China. Chengdu is the economic center of Southwest China and also the educational centre. Chengdu’s education level is at the forefront of mainland China, and basic education (kindergarten + nine-year compulsory education + high school) is particularly developed. Chengdu’s educational quality rank first in the 15 sub-provincial municipalities in China. In the list of China’s top 800 middle schools, Chengdu’s ownership ranks among the top.

Denmark attaches great importance to the national educational. As early as 1814, Denmark began to implement compulsory education. It is one of the countries in the world that implemented compulsory education earlier. Denmark has successfully established a diversified education system, and at the same time ranks among the top in the world in terms of investment in education and talent.

Finland has the title of  » First Global Education », and has been rated as « the country with the best education system in the world ». Finland attaches importance to quality education, fully develops students’ thinking ability, and its Global Innovation Index (GII) has always been at the forefront of the world.

Recently, several middle school principals from Chengdu visited two middle schools in Finland and Denmark to discuss advanced basic education concepts and education systems in Nordic countries, as well as exchange students or organize international study tours, and fully absorbed the principle of equity and quality education experience in the Nordic educational experience.
