Chengdu is the capital of Sichuan Province of China and is the only sub-provincial municipality in Southwest China. Chengdu is the economic center of Southwest China and also the educational centre. Recently, several middle school principals from Chengdu visited two middle schools in Finland and Denmark to discuss advanced basic education concepts and education systems in Nordic countries, as well as exchange students or organize international study tours, and fully absorbed the principle of equity and quality education experience in the Nordic educational experience.
